Top Ten Colorado commercial office markets

Lovely-Colorado has an amazing array of office space and commercial real estate available to companies in need of commercial space. Despite the current recession, the #Colorado office market is still running strong with many options for perspective tenants to choose from. Given these circumstances, the time has never been better for tenants to get the best possible leasing deals on their next Colorado Office Space.

The commercial office market in Colorado can be broken down into ten major submarkets, they are as follows:

1. The #Denver Tech Center Office Space - Originally home to many cable and satellite technology companies, the Denver Tech Center now caters to businesses of all kinds in 122 multi-tenant and single-occupied office buildings totaling just less than 12 million square feet of office space.

2. Central Business District (Downtown Denver) - The CBD is the heart of Denver's business community and home to countless Headquarters and regional offices. In the Mid 70's, Denver saw a boom in commercial development due to the exploration of oil and gas in the west and is still home to many of the companies that helped develop it during that era. Denver has experienced quite a bit of expansion in recent years helping to diversify its commercial offerings to accommodate just about any space requirements an organization may have.

3. Colorado Springs Commercial Real Estate - Colorado Springs is the second largest metro area in Colorado with an estimated population of 400,000 residents, it is also home to the U.S Air Force Academy and a few military bases. The area is quite beautiful and offers just about any outdoor recreational opportunity one can imagine, making it a desirable location to any person or organization looking for commercial or industrial space in Colorado. If your company deals with government contracts or targets outdoor enthusiasts, Colorado Springs would be an ideal place to invest in your next Colorado Office Space.

4. Aurora Office Space - Aurora is a suburb located on the south-east side of metro Denver, combined the two cities are considered the seventeenth or eighteenth largest city in the United States. Aurora is also the second largest city in the metro area, so it is easy to understand why they have an extensive inventory of commercial properties available.

5. Boulder Commercial Space - Boulder, Co has always been considered its own market, often referred to by locals as "The People's Republic of Boulder". This market is resilient and is known for its highly educated work force. The city also prides itself as a progressive, environmentally conscious community, which makes investing in Green and Alternative Technologies highly desirable to any organization thinking about making Boulder their next headquarters.

6. Broomfield/Interlocken Office Space - Broomfield has experienced quite a bit of expansion in the last two decades boasting millions of square feet of commercial space including retail and industrial space. Situated half-way between Denver and Boulder and nestled just along the Flatirons of the Colorado Front Range, Broomfield offers an endless assortment of professional and personal amenities to any perspective business owner.

7. Inverness Commercial Real Estate - Located just south-east of Denver, this submarket is utilized by many companies looking for the work/live environment with many residential and retail offerings available. Access to public transportation is another strong attribute that makes this market very attractive to businesses considering relocating to Colorado.

8. Denver West Office Space - This submarket can be a little confusing to people that are not from Denver, due to the convergence of three different Colorado Cities called Denver West. Portions of Golden, Lakewood, and Denver meet just east of the foothills and provide an excellent venue for any organization requiring immediate access to the mountains. Applewood Technology Center is home to many progressive Tech Firms which reside in this Colorado submarket.

9. Lakewood Office Market - Located just west of Denver, Lakewood is one of the larger cities in the metro area. With convenient access to many of Colorado's major highway arteries, transportation in and out of this market is very easy and highly desirable to all that lease space in this city. Parts of this market are also considered the Denver West Market so when you are looking for office space be sure to learn the difference between the two.

10. Northern Colorado Commercial Real Estate - The northern portion of Colorado is less populated then the central area; however there are two cities in Northern Colorado with commercial offerings to consider. Fort Collins and Greeley are the largest cities in Northern Colorado and are able to provide just about any commercial real estate necessity you may have. The area is home to two of the larger Universities in the state, Colorado State University and University of Northern #Colorado, providing an ample amount of educated workers to choose from.
